Rights applied to a document replace rights applied to a space and rights applied to the whole wiki. *Users*: this field should contain the wikiname of each user you want to apply the rights to. For example "XWiki.JohnDoe". "XWiki.XWikiGuest" should be used for unidentified users. *Groups*: this field should contain the wikiname of each group you want to apply the rights to. "XWiki.XWikiAllGroup" represents the group of all logged-in users with an account on your Wiki. "xwiki:XWiki.XWikiAllGroup" represents the group of all logged-in users using an XWiki.com account. *Access Levels*: this field should contain a list of access levels that you want to apply to the users and groups specified. Available access levels are: admin, edit, view, comment. To protect your wiki in view and edit mode use "view, edit". To protect adding comments use "comment". *Allow/Deny*: this field should contain "Allow" to specify that this is an allow right, and "Deny" to specify a deny right. An allow right means*: "this wiki, space or document is *only* visible or editable to the users or groups specified". To protect a Wiki or Space by allowing only logged-in users using an account created on your Wiki use: * Groups: XWiki.XWikiAllGroup * Users: * Access Levels: "edit" for a private wiki for editing, "view, edit" for a private Wiki for viewing and editing. * Allow/Deny: Allow To open a Wiki for editing by the public: * Groups: XWiki.XWikiAllGroup, xwiki:XWiki.XWikiAllGroup * Users: XWiki.XWikiGuest * Access Levels: "view, edit" for a public Wiki for viewing and editing. * Autoriser/Interdire: Allow Warning: the preferences (accessible from the drop down menu) allow to force authentication for viewing or editing of your Wiki. Without any authentication forcing and any rights specified a Wiki is public for viewing and editing by default.
